What Are Our Guests Saying About Our Vancouver, WA Hotel

This was our second stay here. It wasn't awesome. Our first room was disgusting and smelled of very fresh, but nasty cigarettes. We were 'upgraded' to a king suite (from two queens) because there were no other options. That meant my daughter had to sleep on a pull out bed rather than a real bed. Not an upgrade in my book. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom once we got a new room- which we found out after my daughter was in there, soI had to run down for tp and soap because it wasn't stocked. Lots of hoops to jump through for a one night stay. Upgrades should be upgrades in my book, or some customer service doing something to make up for multiple issues. But that didn't happen. Don't get me wrong, I don't expect things for free, but it seems that the days of going above and beyond are gone

Only four star do to the room being 1 of 2 available we were in room 337. August 2021. Jokingly Presidential Suite. King size bed and pull out bed couch. Minibar with sink and coffee maker. This room was impressively awesome only do to the location in this small town, and it's themed room. Bathroom was modern and very nice. I only would suggest to paint the bathroom the same color as the rest of the room, and update all wall outlet face plates with new plates and include a mini refrigerator would be much appreciated. We will stay again in hopes to get the same room or the other one if available

Nice room. Bed needs to be replaced

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We came from 2.5 hours north to camp at Battle Ground State Park and booked the hotel as a back up because of the heat (and the bugs! LOL!). They had comfortable, clean beds, lots of towels available, deep drawer space and closet, which had extra pillows and blankets, and a well working air-conditioning system and TV. The only minor downside is that the bathroom light was jarring as it was embedded into the mirror, so if you're waking up in the middle of the night and have to find the touch button to turn on the bathroom light, the brightness of the lights in the mirror will definitely jar you at 3:30 in the morning. :D The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the pool to ourselves, so be sure to sign up to reserve your pool time for the duration of your stay. (We stayed 3 days; 2 nights.) Reserving your pool time was probably a smart thing since social distancing is still encouraged. We were not overly impressed with the bagged "continental breakfast". (Muffin, banana, mandarin orange, yogurt, granola bar, and a bottle of water with a napkin & a spoon for the yogurt. However, it was nutritious and sufficient enough to hold us till we were ready for lunch at the lake. This location also has a Dutch Brothers Coffee Drive Thru and a Pho restaurant that has great food literally right across the street, so there was no shortage of goodies nearby. We will stay here again on our net trip to the State Park or whenever we want to plan our next trip down south
